Early Learners — Ages 3–6
This is where the journey begins. Stage One gently introduces children to all 26 letters of the alphabet — both uppercase and lowercase — while pairing each one with a Scripture verse they'll carry with them for life. Every page builds confidence through tracing, recognition, and repetition rooted in God's Word.

Beginning Writers — Ages 5–7
Stage Two takes children from recognizing letters to writing them. With guided stroke-by-stroke letter formation, tracing lines, and Scripture-based copywork, children begin connecting sounds to letters while hiding God's Word in their hearts. Each page is a small act of worship through the simple act of writing.

Sentence Writers — Ages 6–9
Stage Three moves children into full sentence writing. Using the same Scripture verses from earlier stages, children practice writing complete sentences with proper spacing, punctuation, and neatness. This stage builds real penmanship discipline while deepening their relationship with the Word they've been learning since Stage One.

Cursive Writers — Ages 8+
Stage Four brings the full journey together in cursive. Children trace and practice the same Scripture sentences they've known since Stage One — now written beautifully in cursive script. This final stage transforms handwriting into a flowing act of worship, as children write God's Word in their own hand with grace and skill.
A song to go with the books
We set every verse in the workbook to music, so kids can sing while they write. Scripture learned together, one letter at a time.
Every Foster Avenue workbook sold helps support and bring awareness to children in foster care. Bianca's love for the foster care community is woven into every page of this series — and into the very name of this brand. When you buy, you invest in your family and in the flourishing of vulnerable children.
Bianca is a Christian homeschool mom to Avi and Kade, and wife to Leif. She loves gardening, farming, cheesemaking, and—most of all—Jesus. She first created these Scripture-based workbooks for her own children, with the hope they might also serve other families seeking to faithfully raise and equip their children.
Her heart for foster care inspired the name Foster Avenue—a vision to support foster children and their families through these books. They live in Nashville, Tennessee and pray these pages are a blessing to you and your family.
These are beautifully printed physical workbooks your child can write in, not PDFs or digital downloads. Designed to feel special and used daily.
Stage One — Preschool through early kindergarten: learning to recognize letters.
Stage Two — Early elementary: connecting sounds and beginning to write.
Stage Three — Grades 1–3: writing full sentences with growing confidence.
Stage Four — Grades 2–5: mastering cursive while writing Scripture.
Many families use all four stages at once, each child at their own level.
Yes. Every stage uses the same set of Scripture verses, adapted for your child's level. This means the whole family learns together while each child works at their own pace.
Most families spend just a few minutes each day. Simply read the verse, practice writing, and complete the activity. No prep or planning required.
Not at all. These are wonderful as a daily supplement, morning devotional, after-school activity, or Sunday school resource for families of all backgrounds.
If there's a problem — damage, incorrect item, or something on our end — please reach out and we'll make it right. Because these are written-in workbooks, we're unable to accept returns on used books, but we'll always work to find a solution.
